New Delhi: Samsung has launched its state-of-the-craft, premium fridge range 2023. It is 100% manufactured in India and offers multiple India specific features to make customers’ lives comfortable and easy. This brand new Internet of Things (IoT) lineup has been carefully curated to meet the unique cooling needs of modern Indian consumers, including customizable storage, glitzy exteriors, Connected Living convenience, infinite entertainment, energy efficiency, and more.

It starts from around Rs 113,000 and will be available at all leading offline and online retailers.
“We anticipate tremendous demand and expect this industry segment to grow at 100%, led by our new Side-by-Side refrigerator range,” said Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India.

First, all models of the new range will be Wi-Fi enabled and equipped with Smart Things app functionality to reinforce Samsung’s ‘Powering Digital India’ vision. It is equipped with Convertible 5-in-1 mode for customizable storage space, Samsung’s Twin Cooling PlusTM technology for precise cooling and Curd MaestroTM that allows users to make curds at home in a healthy and hygienic way. To allow better use of space, consumers can now detach the curd compartment when not in use.
To provide a connected living experience, these fridges come with Family Hub 7.0 that allows them to control their smart devices through the SmartThings app. It also offers unlimited entertainment, recipe suggestions based on what’s in the fridge, reminders for food expiration dates, and so on.
The new lineup’s AI power-saving mode works on Wi-Fi-based machine learning that optimizes fridge and freezer temperatures to enable up to 10% energy savings. An industry first, Auto Open Door with its ‘touch sensor’ opens the door with a gentle touch. So if your hands are dirty, you can simply hold the hand on the door sensor and the door will open. The new range also has the recently announced 20 year warranty on the Digital Inverter Motor compressor, the industry’s first, ensuring product durability and giving consumers peace of mind.
